3D monitors.

Now this may sound stupid but do ghosts affect technology? my brand new computer broke, then I got a replacement that also doesn’t work too good and the guy who I got it from said it’s not normal (probably just trying to defend himself) and maybe it’s because of spirits. I really don’t think so, besides no one ever died in my house, and my new computer broke because of overheat most probably, but can ghosts do something like this?

No, there is no reason to think that they do. When my car breaks down, it’s always been that there was a mechanical cause. I’ve never had the mechanic come back and say that they found a ghost in the crankcase or something like that. But with electronic equipment people are more eager to jump to the ghost explanation when the unit invariably does something unexpected. I’m not sure why this is, but I suspect the gadgetry of the current ghost hunting fad has something to do with it.

Anyhow, there are so many complex systems that have to work properly in order for a computer to function that a ghost is clearly the least likely explanation. Like you said, overheating is a common problem. I’ve had it happen on my home computer, causing it to shut down unexpectedly. I fixed it by cleaning all the dust from the CPU cooling fins and cleaning the filters on the case.

Like darkroom photography, will Screen Printing jobs become less and less as computer digital technology increases and replaces it?

If I am understanding your statement correctly, I would think that technology would develop more robust print-to-screen features because people will move toward electronic and digital file formats. Electronic signatures have already been in acceptance for quite some time. Additionally, with companies trying to be more eco-friendly, everyone is trying to use less paper. I think that physical paper-based printing will decrease significantly in years to come.

What do you wish that computer technology do for you?
Both futuristic ideas and practical ideas are welcome

1) Take an invention or personal product that I think would change the world, and tyurn it into a readable / understandable design for showing around to potential partners.

2) Allow me to create a simple database(s) on a portable device (VERY CHEAP older PDA-type {WinCE device}) that I can use at work to track palettized inventory 16+ feet off the floor. A barcode gun is possible also.

3) Also (cheap and old) PDA-based – Allow me to track each shot of my dart team’s players for providing scores / averages/ points per darts / etc for each match of over 30 games once a week.

4) Allow me to create fully custom tests for the following – Journeyman Plumber’s exam, RMV Learner’s permits and Driver’s license tests, etc and convert some tests dloaded (IQ/purity/etc)to something than can be run on anybody else’s systems.

Many more but, it’s easier for me to just become a programmer!.

As the others have stated, silent film is just that…silent. If the film had sound on it, it would have a brown magnetic strip, as that of a cassette tape, going down the side opposite of the sprocket holes. However, if there is no brown strip, then there is no sound.

I’m an electronics and computer technology major in college, and I’m thinking of moving out of state when I graduate (or to go to graduate school). Ohio is where I grew up, however, I’m getting really bored with the state as a whole. I need to travel. To make this easier, I just want to know the top ten states for careers in technology.

I specified computer technology because it is my major, however, anything having to do with technology such as cell phones, MP3 players, etc would also work for me. Thank you in advance.
